Magnesium plays an important role in plant nutrition and is found in the center of the chlorophyll molecule, the pigment needed for photosynthesis that gives plants their green color.
Magnesium plays a number of important roles in plant metabolism, including protein synthesis and the distribution of carbohydrates among the different parts of the plant.
SADEH Pellets Enriched with Magnesium are an optimal solution for orchard crops and other crops that are sensitive to magnesium deficiencies. These pellets increase the concentration of magnesium in the soil solution. They are placed in the soil, near the root system of the plant, to provide a readily available source of magnesium for the plant.
